Choithram Foundation boosts our efforts!

In November 2021 we were delighted to sign an MoU with the Choithram International Foundation who have agreed to support Interburn’s organisational costs for two years until 2023. The Foundation were extremely impressed by the extent of our work shown during a presentation by Shobha Chamania at the Choithram Hospital and Research Centre, Indore, India.

Choithrams has deeply personal links with efforts to improve burn care globally and also funds the Choithram Memorial Hospital, Freetown, Sierra Leone (pictured). It was this connection that enabled the rapid deployment of Mercy and Alberta from Korle Bu Hospital, Ghana, following the mass burn disaster in Freetown on 5th November.

We are extremely grateful for this great show of support for the work that Interburns does, it is further testament to the quality of engagement and expertise contributed by our faculty and wide network of partners.
