The Burn Care Foundation, a social unit of NEMCARE Hospital, in association with Interburns, organised an Essential Burn Care course at Numaligarh Refinery Township on 7 October 2017.
75 participants attended, including 25 doctors, 44 Nurses and 6 paramedical staff from different parts of the District of Golaghat.
The programme contained lectures, demonstration scenarios on different aspect of burns, group discussions, skill stations and video presentation on dressings and operative techniques. Dr Sarma took a leading role, Dr Kabita S Choudhury, Dr Dipak Kr. Sarma and Ms Namita Gogoi, Matron NEMCARE Hospital, also took part in the training sessions.
The Session ended with the distribution of Certificates by Dr K C Saikia. The participants expressed their full satisfaction.This is the 13th such training program organised by Burn Care Foundation in collaboration with Interburns in different parts of the North Eastern states of India.
